The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is a remarkable cultural and educational landmark in Dubai, offering an exceptional environment for readers, researchers, and families alike. The architecture is stunning, inspired by the traditional rehl (book stand), and the interiors are thoughtfully designed to provide quiet, comfortable, and well-lit spaces for study and exploration.
The library’s vast collection spans multiple languages and subjects, supported by advanced digital resources and modern research facilities. The staff are courteous and helpful, ensuring visitors have a seamless and enriching experience.
A particularly impressive feature is the automated monorail book retrieval system. Visitors can request books through the library’s app, and the monorail efficiently delivers them from storage to the collection points. This innovative system not only saves time but also showcases the library’s commitment to blending technology with accessibility, making knowledge more convenient to obtain.
Overall, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library stands as a symbol of Dubai’s dedication to education, innovation, and cultural growth. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking a world-class library experience.

Mohammad Bin Rashid Library was a very good experience. It’s not only for reading books—you can also explore history and culture through the museum sections. The magazine museum is also worth checking out.
The whole building itself is amazing to roam around, and it feels very refreshing after exploring every floor. Don’t forget to go to the backside for the harbour view. You won’t see the sunset from there, but you’ll find very cute and friendly cats, a cool breeze, and a really peaceful atmosphere. Overall, a great experience.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is an impressive and inspiring place with stunning architecture and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The space is vast, well organized, and very well maintained. They offer private workspaces on a first-come, first-served basis, and shared desks are available whenever a spot is free. There is also a designated area for those bringing their own food.
Free parking is available, and the location is easily accessible by public transport through bus C04. Opening hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday, except Fridays, it opens at 2 PM. The staff are courteous, professional, and very helpful, making the overall experience even better. A must-visit for reading, studying, or quiet work in Dubai.

I visited this library with my family, and we were all amazed by how big and beautiful it is, both inside and out. From a distance, the building is uniquely shaped like an open book, which makes it stand out architecturally. Inside, the space is spotless and very well maintained. The layout and design are thoughtfully done, with neatly arranged books and modern interiors that create a welcoming and peaceful environment. There's even a dedicated children’s area with books and a small play zone, making it perfect for families. One of the highlights is the museum upstairs, where you can explore fascinating historical artifacts and items, an unexpected bonus to an already impressive place.
It’s definitely a must visit spot if you’re in Dubai. The best part, it’s free to enter! You can easily walk there from Dubai Creek Metro Station (Green Line), or if the weather is too hot, a quick taxi ride will get you there comfortably.
